Overview:

Combining the magnificent Victoria Falls with an authentic, big game safari in Botswana, including the water wilderness that is the Okavango Delta has got to be the ultimate safari experience. The destinations included are remote and very, very wild giving the opportunity to witness unique big game interactions in some of Africa’s last true wilderness areas. Raw and vintage Africa.

Itinerary:

Days 1 - 3: Victoria Falls, Islands of Siankaba (FB&A)

On arrival spend 3 days at the Islands of Siankaba, an exclusive tented lodge spread over two remote, densely forested, private islands on the Zambezi River upstream from the mighty Victoria Falls. Visit the Victoria Falls, enjoy a host of river activities or simply relax at the lodge surrounded by the soothing sounds of the water and wildlife.

Days 4 & 5: Botswana, Kwando Lagoon Camp (FB&A)

Crossing the border into Botswana board a light aircraft bound for Kwando, a massive 2,300 square kilometer private concession located in one of Africa’s most remote wilderness areas. Accompanied by both guide and tracker enjoy spectacular predator sightings from open 4x4 vehicles in an area that is home to the largest free ranging elephant population on earth.

Days 6 & 7: Okavango Delta, Kwara Camp (FB&A)

Another air transfer brings you to the remote northern parts of the Okavango Delta and to the private Kwara concession. Bordering the Moremi Game Reserve and situated next to a permanent channel of the delta Kwara offers year round boat and land based safaris as well as night drives and mokoro (traditional dug out canoes) trips.

Day 8:  

After a final morning in the water wilderness that is the Okavango Delta board a final light aircraft for your transfer back to Maun where your safari ends.

• Road transfer across border to Kasane
• Transfer by light aircraft to Kwando
