Fugitive’s Drift Guesthouse and Lodge are situated on a small game reserve and a natural heritage site overlooking the historic battlefields of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift. Mesmorising battlefield tours of the Anglo-Zulu battlefields, pioneered by the late David Rattray, are unquestionably the highlight of any visit. The Guesthouse offers comfortable accommodation in six attractive en-suite cottages with a swimming pool. The Lodge, which has its own swimming pool, houses an enviable collection of Anglo Zulu war memorabilia.  The eight spacious, en-suite cottages all feature private verandas with commanding views over the plains
